Simple and convenient hot composting
Since 1990, Joraform AB has been developing and marketing composting machines and smaller hot composters for local composting of household waste.
We are a composting company with extensive knowledge and experience of successful hot composting. We have collaborated with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency in composting projects involving several hundred households, and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences has conducted analyses and cultivation trials on finished compost. Joraform is constantly evolving. It started with our rotating hot composter for individual households. We were the first on the market with the rotating compost bin, and we have continued to develop it. Today, we have solutions for composting food waste for up to several hundred households.
You don’t have to be an expert in composting to compost in a large composter. Basically, you just need to learn how to sort your waste. When installing a composter from Joraform, theoretical and practical information is always included for all users / residents.

JK 5100 – function, design, safety and quality
How it works
The waste is ground in the mill and ends up in the first container, the process chamber. Here, the waste is processed and aerated with a newly developed mixing technique. After about two weeks, the mixing mechanism transfers the material to the second container where the post-maturation process takes place. The post-maturation chamber is equipped with a separate mixing function. JK 5100 is built with two chambers, which means that the waste is always post-composted and that the end product is of high quality.
Well thought-out design
JK 5100 has been developed with the idea of “simple and fresh” as a guiding principle. The user does not need to press buttons or change any settings. Just open the hatch, throw in your waste and close it. The machine is easy to keep clean and the filling hatch is placed at a comfortable level, also for wheelchair users. The compost bins are equipped with inspection hatches. The JK 5100 can also be equipped with an automatic litter dispenser.
Safety first
The machine has several built-in safety features. The filling hatch cannot be opened during grinding, and when the hatch is open, the grinder motor is locked. Mixers/aerators are built-in.
High quality
JK 5100 has a robust and genuine construction, made mostly of stainless steel. The parts that wear the most are replaceable to give the machine optimal service life.
